Functions and Indications: Replenishing qi and nourishing yin, promoting blood circulation and dredging collaterals, clearing heart and tranquilizing mind. It is used to treat premature ventricular contractions of coronary heart disease, which belong to the deficiency of both Qi and Yin. For the syndrome of stagnation of heart collaterals, symptoms including palpitations, restlessness, shortness of breath and fatigue, exacerbated by movement, chest pain, insomnia and dreaminess, night sweats, mental fatigue, and lazy talk.
