Reishi (as called in Japanese) or Lingzhi (as called in Chinese) is a powerful mushroom that holds an important place in many Asian traditional herbal systems. Known for its antioxidant properties and potential ability to bolster the immune response, reishi is used by many individuals for a variety of ailments, ranging from AIDS to cancer.
We have two varieties of Reishi: the red and black Reishi. They are of the same species: Ganoderma lucidum but the red reishi is believed to have a higher concentration of phytonutrients.
