Huang Qi (黃耆) is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine and can be used for a variety of purposes, most notably for invigorating qi (vital energy) in various areas and vital organs of the body that may be deficient in qi. Other uses include promoting diuresis, relieving swelling of the body, and supporting qi to promote skin wound/ulcer healing and promoting tissue/ muscle regeneration.
