Peach tree gum is a resin secreted from the bark of Rosaceae peach or mountain peach harvested in summer. Peach gum (Tao Jiao/桃胶) is rich in collagen, galactose, and rhamnose, an anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating, skin-beautifying natural sugar, amongst a number of other amino acids. Collagen is a critical part of the human body and peach resin is used in traditional Chinese medicine to replenish and preserve it.

When soaked, it expands 8-10 times its initial dry size so be wary of how much you soak. This product has irregular lumps, teardrops, and comes in many different sizes.
