Mikei® Red Reishi Essence is produced by the Mayuzumi family of Japan, the world's foremost reishi mushroom growers. In 1976, they identified the most superior strain of red reishi and perfected its cultivation and extraction to exacting Japanese standards. Each Mikei capsule contains only red reishi that has been grown to maturity in a natural greenhouse environment and hot-water extracted to a potent 16.6:1 ratio.
