Bamboo Pitch is a kind of mushroom. The Chinese name is Long Skirt Zhusheng (White Skirt) English name: Dictyophora indusiata (Vent.ex Pers) Fisch, and Ghost Pen (Yellow Skirt Zhusheng) is a relative. The bamboo fungus belongs to Basidiomycetes, Phalloides, and Phalloides. Long skirt bamboo fungus, also known as Snow Skirt Fairy, Mountain Treasure Flower, Fungus Flower, Fungus Queen, etc. Because of the harsh growth conditions, it is rarely seen.
The nutritional value of dried bamboo fungus is high and contains 19.4% protein, 2.6% fat, and 60.4% total carbohydrates, including 4.2% bacterial sugar, 8.4% crude fiber and 9.3% ash. Bamboo Sheng is healthy for those who have hypertension, neurasthenia, gastrointestinal diseases and so on. Bamboo sheng also has a special antiseptic function.
