Candied Dates - 蜜棗 (mì zǎo)

Candied dates(蜜枣), also called golden thread honey dates because of the striations on the dates, is a popular sweetener in Chinese soups and drinks. They are larger, sweeter, and tougher than typical red dates. These honey dates can help strengthen the lungs and are commonly used during cold and allergy season.
